Amazon Jungle Tours from Iquitos, Peru
Our lodge-based jungle tours are the best way to experience the Amazon without sacrificing comfort. You'll spend your days out in the rainforest — hiking trails, spotting wildlife, paddling canoes through flooded forest, and visiting indigenous communities — then return each evening to a private room at Brisa Tropical, Yanayacu River Eco-Lodge with river views, hot meals, and a hammock waiting for you. Tours run from 2 to 7 days with daily departures and fully customizable itineraries.
BRISA TROPICAL, YANAYACU RIVER ECO-LODGE
The Amazon Experience
Every tour includes a mix of the Amazon's most memorable activities, adjusted based on the length of your stay and what excites you most. On a typical multi-day tour, you can expect to visit an animal rescue center where you'll get up close with rescued wildlife, explore Monkey Island and interact with free-roaming primates, watch pink river dolphins surface along the Amazon River, fish for piranhas with your guide, take guided day and night hikes through primary rainforest, paddle canoes along quiet tributaries, visit indigenous Amazonian tribes to learn about their traditions and customs, enjoy a local rum tasting, and wake early for sunrise birding excursions. Longer tours go deeper — adding overnight camping, visits to remote lakes to spot the rare hoatzin bird, and time at elevated observation towers overlooking the canopy.
Choose Your Tour Length
We offer tours from 2 to 7 days, each building on the one before. A 2-day trip gives you a concentrated taste of the jungle — perfect if you're short on time. A 3 to 4-day stay covers the most popular activities and is our most booked option. A 5 to 7-day tour takes you further into remote territory with more wildlife encounters, deeper jungle treks, and the chance to add focused sport fishing, birding, or overnight rainforest camping into your itinerary.
Where You'll Stay
Brisa TropicaLodge sits along the Yanayacu River, surrounded by jungle on every side. Rooms are private with jungle and river views, and the lodge includes freshly prepared meals three times a day, free WiFi, complimentary coffee and tea around the clock, a bar, hammock areas, and a laundry service. Getting here is part of the adventure — a boat ride down the Amazon River from Iquitos, a walk through a riverside community, and a second boat trip along the Yanayacu brings you deep into the rainforest before you even unpack.
What's Included
Every lodge tour includes private accommodations, meals, licensed bilingual guides, transportation from Iquitos to the lodge and back, and guided excursions throughout your stay. Equipment for activities like fishing and jungle hikes is provided. No hidden fees — your price is your price.
Want Something More Focused?
If you're looking for a trip built entirely around a specific activity, check out our dedicated sport fishing tours, birding tours, or rainforest camping expeditions. Or combine them — many guests add a day of focused fishing or a night of camping into their lodge-based tour for the best of both worlds.
